ABOUT ME

Jacob Garcia is a newsroom fellow at WBUR and uses his documentarian background to guide him through the world of journalism.

He works with the digital team to produce social videos while also being an active contributor to the newsroom's Arts and Culture team outside of his general fellowship responsibilities.

Before joining the team, Jacob was a multimedia journalist for GBH News' arts & culture desk where he not only wrote but also produced, shot and/or edited video packages for broadcast and the PBS Newshour. He also worked as a producer/editor for Inequality Media where he first honed his professional writing and video production skills for Former Labor Secretary, Robert Reich.
